P.S. ctfmon has nothing to do with IE it is for office applications not IE,
you may have some type of malware on your system that is trying to hide by
calling itself ctfmon and stopping IE from opening.
Actually IE7 does create an instance of ctfmon. However, this should not
be preventing the OP from getting to his home page. He has some other
problem. Since I don't know any of the details, that's all I can say.
