CTFLoader

Sometimes when I open a browser or a program, I get a panel that says,"CTF
Loader has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. We are sorry, etc.,
etc.,etc. What does this mean and how or should I get rid of it. Or should I
not be bothered by it and just resume what I'm doing? Thank you for any info.

CTFLoader is the utility the loads CTFMON into the task list. It is part of
the Works and Office suites. You should try repairing the install of that
app.
