CSC folder under Windows?!?!?!

Running XP Pro SP1, and there is a CSC folder under c:\windows. THis folder
is taking up about 3 gigs or so. When I try to delete the data within it, it
will not let me, files are in use. I researched it a little, and it appears
to be caching for DNS or something similiar. My next step is to go into safe
mode and delete it, but How do I make sure it never gets that large again?

Hi

No, that is not for caching DNS, it's full of files because you at some time
have enabled Offline Files and Folders for a network drive.

Those files are located in %windir%\CSC (hidden folder).
