CSC Delete XP Embedded

I need to delete a single temp file from the C:\Windows\CSC directory and am
using XP Embedded. Can I delete out of the directory? Are there any
disadvantages to this? Thanks.

Just curious - why do you need to delete a single file? You can control how
much space is devoted to the ClientSideCache or even just disable the
feature.

As far as "is it safe", it "should be". Deleting a temp file should always
be safe. If the file is in use and therefore wouldn't have been safe, the
delete will fail. In general, the answer here is going to be the same
answer as it would be for XP Pro.
