I want to have a crystal report available in my form, simply by pressing a
button and crystal report v9 will display the report. How does one program
that. Any tips will be apprericated. Thanks

Alex,

Based on your post I will assume that a crystal report is the name of a
report you have named "crystal". I will also assume you have a form that you
want a button that when pressed prints or print previews that report. You can
achieve this goal in a few different ways. The easiest way is to do this is
to choose design view in the form you want the button added. Make sure in
the view menu you have the toolbox selected. In the toolbox choose command
button. Then on the form using the left mouse button drag and then release
where you want to place the button. Click the report operations on the left
window then in the window select either priview or print report. The next
window lists all of your reports. Select "Crystal" or what ever the name of
your report is. Next choose the type of button you want either text or
picture. In this case we will choose text and type "Print Cystal Report" in
the field ajacent to text. Choose next and then type a meaningful name for
the button like "Cystalbtn". Choose finished and that's it, your report
should print when the button is pressed in the form view.
