Cryptic files

Under WINDOWS, and the first to be listed, there is a set of files with
extremely long numbers as their names - and CDF and BAK extensions,
respectively.

Under SYSTEM 32, similarly first in line, there is a set of files with
extremely long numbers, no extensions.

Each is 5 to 6 Mb. Can they be deleted?

Good rule of thumb....

"If it's in the Windows or system32 folders and you don't have a clue what
it does, leave well alone...."
