.CRW format and photoshop Ver 7

My new Canon EOS 300D exports RAW format photos
with the file suffix .CRW.
Photoshop Ver 7 does not seem to recognise this format
is there a plug in or fix?

Unfortunately, they call the fix "Photoshop CS". At $189 for the upgrade
it's not much of a bargain, unless you find something you have use for in
the new features. The CaptureOne software from Phase One seems to be the
most popular to convert to TIFF or JPEG, but the Canon BreezeBrowser works

The excellent freeware IrfanView recognizes the
Canon .crw format and has the capability to do
a batch format conversion.
