Dear Mr. Hookman,
I hope you will be the one to answer me sine you are the expert on this.
My knowledge turned out to be very limited, although I am very good at
creating all kinds of crosstab queries, however I never could have a dynamic
report based on them. I have copied your crosstab sample and find it amazing
but could not follow the trail on how it works. I even copied your simple
report called :srptCustomerHeading, gave it a new source, got the same result
you did, but could not figure out how the printing was vertical and not
horizontal. I gone through all the report properties details and found it no
different from a normal one that prints vertically. I must have missed a
creterion? Perhaps this is where my problem lays? Can you help me out?

The srtpCustomerHeading is a multi-column subreport set to display across,
then down. The number of columns to display should match the number of
columns you want in your crosstab.

Dear Mr. Hookom,
Thank you for your prompt answer. I apologize if I sound like a beginner,
but how do I creat a multicolumn subreport manually, without using the label
wizard. Where do I find the the properties criterion to change? One more
question, is the report rptSalesByEmpCust also multicolumn report?

The main report is a single column report. To change a report to multiple
column select File->Page Setup->Columns. You will notice that the sample
"srptCustomerHeadings" has 8 columns.

Sorry I am late answering you. I was on vacation for one day. It was so
simple. Many thanks for pointing it out to me.
Rgrds.
