Crop problem with Vuescan 8.2.14

I just installed Vuescan 8.2.14.
Its automatic-crop-position and/or automatic-crop-size option doesn't
work - it picks a rather small area in the center of the image.
Scanner: Minolta Scan Elite 2
OS: WinXP
Film: negative (Fuji Superia).
I'm using scan-from-preview workflow.

And, by the way, does anybody know the "official" way to report Vuescan
bugs? I didn't find it in the user guide.

My, you're in a hurry! When was that released? Yesterday? And BTW it's
already out of date! Version 8.2.15 is here. Have a look at
http://www.hamrick.com/vuescan/vuescan.htm#changes
to check if your problem has been fixed.
