Critical update life cycle

I looked at MS lifecycle url but was unclear as to the content;
Has critical updates to win2k finished or when is it due to finish?

ie I'm wondering whether to update to XP or hold out untill vista sp1
 
Hello DL,

You get security critical updates for 2000 until the middle of 2010 when
the extended support ends.
Maybe to the middle of 2007 you get them with windowsupdate automatically,
then you have to manually download it from MS website.
