Critical update download limit?

Hi,
I recently formatted my PC & spent ages downloading all the acrued critical updates, (about 21). I downloaded them about 5 at a time, & a couple needed to be downloaded on their own. Could I have downloaded the lot in one go? Or is there a limit to how many you should do at a time? I just wondered if this can cause faults to any of them?
Many thanks in advance.

Ian.

Ian;
I normally suggest limiting to 3 at a time.
Part of the reason is if there is a problem, you have a better idea
where to start.
Another reason is I like to limit how much the computer is doing at a
time while updating.
It seems sometimes more things can happen with lots of updates.

If all goes right there is no limit, but...

Hi Ian
There shouldn't be an issue if all goes well downloading a larger number,
say 15 at once, then install the ones which can only be installed by
themselves on subsequent reboots. This is often what I do when after
installing a machine, I have sometimes had items fail to install but not
actually had an issue caused by downloading that many at once. The downside
is that it can cause bigger headaches if your trying to rule out a hotfix as
causing undesired effects, but that's not really a regular event.
