Just wondering if anybody else had the problem I
experienced with this update. When I installed it, it
threw my computer into an endless reboot loop.
Fortunately, I always backup my hard drive prior to
installed a Windows Critical Security Update. I restored
from my backup and it solved the problem.

I got off lightly, Alan - all it did was break my Sygate Personal Firewall,
giving an error-message on every reboot. All I can say is thank goodness for
Drive Image, a necessity rather than a luxury these days - & yes, always
Backup before updating ....

Yes, mine crashed too. I had the choice of going into
Safe Mode or using the last good known configuration. I
have yet to install it successfully.

I use norton ghost myself. both products are good
