"Credits" animation stopping

I'm sitting on the couch in New Zealand doing a presentation for a fashion show, and am trying to figure out how to get a long list of objects to be animated as credits.
I have a list of all the people/companies we need to thank, which I have put in as textboxes and pictures onto a slide. They're in order, one under another under another and so on. I have set for them all to scroll up the slide using the "credits" animation, but after about 10 seconds, the whole thing stops in the middle of the slide. I've tried adjusting the time period and things, but it still just stops.
I know I've figured this out before, about a year ago, but I can't remember how to do it! Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

What version of PPT are you using?

Did you drag the textbox off the upper edge of the slide? Did you drag it
far enough up so that everything has room to scroll off?
