creative Jukebox doesn't load

When installing or removing Creative Jukebox Zen USB2.0
on a Dell 8500 laptop, I get an

Unhandled Exception
Error Number 0x80040201
An event was unable to invoke any of the subscribers
Setup will Terminate

I can't install or remove the software. Any ideas?
