Creating Windows Tutorials

I am interested in creating tutorials that use the Windows desktop and record, if that is the right word, the actions that I do on the computer. For example, I would like to record the mouse moving on the screen and clicking the Start menu, then moving to Programs menu, and opening a program. Is there a feature in Powerpoint that allows for creating web-based training type tutorials that can be saved to a file? If not in Powerpoint, is there another program or Add-In that I can use? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

PowerPoint is frequently used as "authorware" for tutorials. You can find
some very good ideas at:

You'll need a screen recorder/capture for what you've described:

And finally, if accessibility of the end product is needed, see:

Do a google search for screen capture video. Camtasia Studio and Hypercam
are two that I am familiar with that will capture to video.
