When I try and create a new VPN client, it actually creates a new dialup
connection. When I open it it actually tries to dial the IP address! This
is after an upgrade from W2K Pro to XP Pro then SP2. VPNs from before the
upgrade are OK apart from they give Error 800 immediately - but that's
another problem. Help appreciated pls

I have Symptom 3, the only WAN Miniport I have is PPOE. (Had to select
View-Show Hidden Devices"). Question is, how do I recover the missing ones -
especially the PPTP one I need?

decided easiest way is to do a full install of XP instead of the upgrade from
W2K I did previously
