Is there a way to create a template in Outlook? Can
someone please explain how? I want to send the same
email (body). For example, Dear ... It was nice speaking
to you today. I will call you next week ... Thanks,
Chris

Create the message as completely filled out as you want it to be, then click
File | Save As, and save it as an Outlook Template (.OFT) file. Put it in
an easily accessible place on your hard drive, and/or create an easily
accessible shortcut to it. If you open that file from Windows, you will
have a ready-to-complete mail message window on your screen.

Jocelyn, I tried what you suggested but there is no option to save as an
Outlook Template (.OFT) file. I have Outlook 2003 and use Word 2003 as my
e-mail editor. Should I not use Word as my e-mail editor or do I have to
just type in the extension myself.

You'll have to temporarily switch back to using Outlook as your e-mail
editor to save a .OFT file. It won't work from WordMail.

I understand the concept of creating an outlook template. The only
catch is that the template is html based with images, which are being
accessed off the internet, not locally. The template looks fine just
before I save it.

I am having the template mailed to customers based upon the subject of
their email using rules in outlook. The problem is that the email
being sent out is not in html, the images are not appearing, all fonts
and colors are removed etc.

Is there a way to correct this probem, as with all the missing
graphics and fonts, the emails look horrible.

Thanks,

Gary
