Hi

I have Access 2000. I have database that I would like to share with
collegues. I'd like to convert this to an application that doesn't
require the user to own Access or Office - a standalone *.exe file. Is
this possible to do with Access or would I need some other kind of
program to accomplish this?

thank you all for your help

Access , like VB requires runtime files. You cannot compile it as
stand-alone. You can use a developer's edition (the name for the 2000
version is MOD (Microsoft Office Developer) edition which will build the
install package and runtime, and add the license you'll need to
re-distribute Access.
