You need to get some third-party software.
Norton GHOST is probbaly the most popular/oldest. Power Quest DriveImage
has also been around a while and has a good reputation. Acronis TrueImage
is relatively newer, but I find that it works well, and I personally like it
better than GHOST. There are others to be found if you do a web search on
"backup".
In any case, be sure to check with the vendor's websites, so that you know
what are the latest version. Then, buy one wherever you can get a good
deal. These are sometimes bundled with other programs, some of whihc you
might also want. It pays to shop around. But, be careful, as some "cheap"
software that you might find on-line at non-vendor websites may be older
versions, and some of those may not be XP-compatible.
