When I create a hyperlink in Power Point to a movie clip I always get a
message when the hyperlink is clicked. The message idenitfies my file
location and then warns me about potential viruses. It asks if I am sure I
want to open the file. How do I turn this off? Thsi message popping up does
not make for a very professional presentation.

Have you tried inserting the video directly in the presentation? Use Insert >
Movies and Sounds > Movie from File. You will not get the message that you get
with the hyperlink.

Using a Run File action setting rather than a hyperlink works in some versions
of PPT.
