Hi.
I would like to create a new menu based on a form or report opening. Could
anyone give me an idea on how to do this?
See the following Web pages for step-by-step instructions:
Create a custom menu bar
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...chowCreateCustomMenuBarForCurrentDatabase.asp
Add custom menus to menu bar
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d.../en-us/off2000/html/ofdccCreateCustomMenu.asp
Add a built-in menu
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...y/en-us/off2000/html/ofdccAddOrDeleteMenu.asp
Add commands
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d.../en-us/off2000/html/ofhowAddCommandToMenu.asp
After you are satisfied with the new menu bar, select the "Toolbars" tab of
the Customize dialog window and scroll down to the name of the new menu bar.
Uncheck it and close the Customize dialog window.
Open the form or report in Design View and then open the Properties dialog
window. Select the Form's Properties and then select the "Other" tab.
Select the Menu Bar Property combo box and scroll down to select the name of
your new menu bar. Close the Properties dialog window and save the form or
report. Open it in Form View (or Report View) and the built-in menu bar will
be replaced by your new menu bar whenever this form (or report) is open.
Close the form (or report) and the built-in menu bar reappears.
HTH.
