creating a email address shortcut

i was just wondering if there is a way to, instead of
typing my whole email address, creating a shortcut to do
that for me by using a couple of keys.....for example,
like using "Ctrl 7" or whatever? i have a long email
address and this would be much faster. is there already
something programmed into xp pro that will do this for
me? thank you
 
Have you tried cut and paste?

Create a text file on your desktop and put your email address in it.
Just open the text file when you need your 'type' your email address
then copy and paste it.
 
What program are you typing your address in? If it's outlook express, just
save your address into your address book. If it's in emails you send out,
just include your email address in your signature and set it to display sig
when you send email. Anything else you basicly have to do the copy and paste
method.
