Crash to desk top

My XP pro hasn't been stable since I installed new memory.
(3 sticks of 512 PC-2700 DDR) Some programs (F1 2002)crash
to desktop at random. IE shuts down at random.

I swapped all memory and even the motherboard with the
same results. I tinkered with the page file as per the XP
Experts webpage. 384 min with 2304 max on two physical
drives.

I re-installed XP with the new memory installed and it
occurs less frequently now, but still happens. Motherboard
is rated OK for PC-2700

Any ideas extreamly appreciated.

You answered your own question. You just didn't like the answer. The new
memory you installed is either bad or doesn't play nice with your
motherboard.

Obviously XP doesn't like your new ram and/or the way it interacts with
the rest of your hardware including CPU cache ram. Yes the ram may be
perfect and work perfectly in another system. XP may just not like your
specific combo.
