Hi all,

I'm an avid mailer. I use Outlook from my Office 2003 installation. I
configured my Outlook to be minimized to my System Tray. If I want to do
something in Outlook (read, write a new mail, look into my Contacts, plan an
appointment) I always have to restore my Outlook. I do that by a double click
on the Outlook icon. But most of the time a small window opens, where I have
to choose 'Open Outlook'.

What I would to see added in this menu is entries with oft occurring tasks,
like
1. Write a new e-mail;
2. Plan an appointment;
3. Plan a task;
Things you don't need to whole Outlook window for restored. Compare it on
clicking the message of a new e-mail. If you click that message fast enough,
only the new e-mail is opened.

Just my two cents.

Hi - this is a Windows XP group, but even an Outlook group wouldn't be the
best place for this, as it's a product suggestion & not a tech support
query. Try e-mailing (e-mail address removed).
