how do I uninstall cpuidle.exe if its not part of windows
and its not system idle process I new that from the start
but why does it consume all my processor speed and
disable me from using other programs and apps. the
directory its in is

C:\WINDOWS.000\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\etc\CPUIDLE

is this a thing supplied by microsoft or should i remove
the directory and any instances of it in like startup.

YOU SHOULD CONTACT THE MAKER OF THE PROGRAM

It doesnt matter if "you" didnt install it. It's now your system and if you
need support please contact them.

you are forgetting the most important thing does it come
provided as part of xp or would i have got it from
somewhere without knowing.

properly not just pass them off and skip through them
without reading if i say is it part of xp or was it in a
service pack or critical update you just pass it off

Well, if it doesn't come with XP (Which it doesnt) the only way you could of
gotten it was without knowing. This doesnt change howto get support for the
program though.

i've answered your question 4 times now. The first time you posted i gave
you the exact answer of howto uninstall it. From their you continued to
post it 3 more time. I hate to be the one to tell you, but the answer for
removing products and getting support doesn't change. This is a newsgroup
for Windows XP and other Microsoft Products. Since your having problems
with a non-Microsoft Product i nicly suggested that to get support you need
to contact the maker of the program. Re-posting again and again can't and
will not change the answer for getting support.
