CPU running at 100% ??

Doug

Need help with a friends computer. His computer was
infected with the Sassar and the Backdoor.Ranky viruses.
He has been able to clean both off of his computer,
however whenever he tries to load a new program or open
IE or just try to browse the web Task Manager shows the
CPU to be running at 100%. When the page or program is
finished loading the CPU will decrease only to run again
at 100% when another application is commanded. Any help
with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Do the Windows Critical Updates, install and update a good
anti-virus program and scan system, install and run a good
anti-spyware program (free), disable startup items via
MSCONFIG (all of 'em), visit this site

The bloody awful InCD can also cause this problem.
