Coverting word 2002 to PDF missing hyperlinks

When I converted a word 2002 doc (with Use CTRL + CLICK to follow hyperlink uncheck) to PDF format the hyperlinks to not work. I also tested the same format with Word 2000 and it worked. Is there some settings in Word 2002 that is disabling this feature when converted over to a pdf? I tried this with both Acrobat 5 and 6 with the latest updates

Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated

I don't know what "CTRL + CLICK to following hyperlink uncheck" means...
No matter. This feature to make hyperlinks active or not is a
setting in the Adobe Acrobat tool added to Word when you install Adobe
Acrobat. See the Menu: Adobe PDF/Change Conversion Settings, Tab:
Settings, Section:Application Settings, check on: Add links to Adobe PDF.
