Covert Word file to Powerpoint

Hi
How do I convert a Word 2000 document containing text, graphics and tables to Powerpoint
In Word, I've tried sending the file to powerpoint, but that only imported bits and pieces of text. In Powerpoint I also tried Inserting the Word Outline but that didn't work either.

either.You should try asking this in the powerpoint newsgroup.

Generally, I think it comes down to using the right styles to format the text so that
"Send to" recognizes what should be done with it.
