In Word XP when I create an envelope and use my outlook address book for the contact, it will always put the "united states of america" on the last line
How do I turn this option off? My control panel "regions" all say USA

Diane,

You will need to define an AUTOTEXT entry called AddressLayout. My friend
Graham Mayor has a web posting of all the available fields at:

http://www.gmayor.com/Macrobutton.htm

If for example your want your standard address to appear like

John Smith
1234 Easy Street
Anytown, NY 12345

Then use a blank document and type in the following:

{<PR_GIVEN_NAME> <PR_SURNAME>}
{<PR_POSTAL_ADDRESS>}

Select the entire text and press ALT+F3. Name the entry AddressLayout and
press OK.

Note: The { } brackets are not fields, but control where the lines start
and finish, thus can be used to prevent unwanted blank lines.
