I have a table [pcinventry wo tams_se] with a field [fscm] and I want to see
how many times the values of [fscm] appear in another table's [pcinventry]
field [fscm]. I have this =DSum("1", "[YourTable]", "[1st Choice] =
""Resident Registration""") but I cannot seem to get it to work. Any help
would be appreciated.

Have you checked Access HELP for the syntax of DSum() and examples?

Hmmm? Your title mentions counting, but your explanation includes DSum().

Which is it? Count or Sum?
