Counting Lines of Code

Hi,

I remember seeing an earlier post (my apologies in advance if I am in the
wrong forum) about someone who had created an add-in called "Albert Kallal
Database Statistics" which could generate a report indicating lines of code
and other useful statistics.

Is this add-in available anywhere at the moment? I am in need of something
like this so I can report on the progress of one of my current projects.

Thanks in advance.

That would be Jeff Conrad's work. If he doesn't reply to this thread,
see if a Google Groups search will turn up a contact address for him.

Hi Lance,

Dirk pinged me about this post (thanks Dirk).

I am in the process of re-tooling this add-in a bit, but this is one of 612
projects on my plate at the moment so it may take a while to complete.
I can certainly send you a copy of the version 2.0 add-in along with the
User Guide if you would like. As of right now it just counts the lines of
codes in all code-bearing objects and a count of the various database
objects.

I will need to know whether you need the 97 or 2000 version. The 2000
version will work with 2000, 2002, and 2003. Please let me know where
you would like the file sent to, but mung the e-mail address so you do not
get Spammed. If you are uncomfortable doing that, post back and I'll let
you know how to contact me.

Hi Jeff,

I would greatly appreciate it if you could send me a copy of your 2000
version (I am running XP and 2003). I seen a report of what it can do and
that is exactly what I am looking for. It sounds like you are really busy,
so it is not that big of a rush.

I can be reached at: lance_REMOVE_@digital_REMOVE_architecture.ca

Thanks very much Jeff. It is greatly appreciated. And thanks to Dirk for
tracking you down. :)

Hi Lance,

Sure, I'd be happy to send along a copy.
I need a break anyway, I'm getting a splitting headache right now.

Subject line will be "Access Add-in You Requested From The Newsgroup"
and will be along shortly.

PLEASE read the User Guide first as it details how to install and use
the add-in. Heed the warnings.

Please post back here so I know you received the files.

Thanks Graham.

I have not heard of that one before but I will definitely look it up.

Thanks again everyone for your quick replies.

Jeff,

Thanks again for emailing me the add-in. I received it and it appears to be
working for me.
