Hello....please help me!!! I bought a computer privately with Windows XP
Professional already installed. It worked great for the first month but now
I get a message saying I may be the victim of Program Counterfeitting. I
have a blue star in the bottom right of my task bar and can't get updates.
How do I find out more about this and what can I do about it?????

Not a completely correct question. Most all of the software is "Genuine"
(unmodified), it's just the keys that are fakes...
