Count between dates by type

Columns are as follows:

Date Color Quantity
01/01/06 Red 100
01/10/06 Blue 100
01/15/06 Red 100
01/25/06 Blue 100
01/30/06 Red 100

I need help costructing a SUMPRODUCT or SUMIF formula (or other) that gives
me the total by color between 01/01/06 and 01/30/06. Help is appreciated.
