IO'm having two related problems:
a) I'm trying to download a csv file for use in a database
I'm trying to build, but I keep getting this error. I'm
running Access 2000 SP-3 under Win2kPro. I thought this
was an issue only with Access 97? At any rate, I've found
mstext35.dll and msxbse35.dll (although I don't think I
need the latter), and I've been unable to loacte a copy of
msexcl35.dll; however, b) I can't get regsvr32 to register
it. I've typed in the correct path the these dlls on my
hard drive, but I only get a response that regsvr32 can't
find the module (even though both show up quite plainly in
Explorer in the named path).
I'd really like a) to be solved first. The code I'm
running that produces the ISAM error is this:
strPath = "URL;http://quote.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s="
& FetchStr & "&f=" & YahooControlStr & "&e=.csv"
conn.Open "Provider = Microsoft.jet.OLEDB.4.0; Data
Source =" & strPath
where FetchStr correctly resolves to a series of stock
quotes, and YahooControlStr correctly resolves to a series
of data types to be fetched (e.g., company name, price,
etc).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
