Or do I need to "disable" one? I am getting"the operation failed" message as
I click on "send/receive" button when I am in inbox. For a day now, i start
outlook and see the contents of previous emails there, but as I click
send/receive, a small yellow window says "The Operation Failed"
Thank you.

Hi Tom,
You can run both on one mashine. "The operation failed!" error sounds like a
curropt profile.
Please create a new profile and try to send/receive again!

Hi Andreas,
To remedy the possible corruption of Outlook, I went to Add/Remove and did
both Repair and Reinstall. After that, message said:"Your Microsoft Office
setup has successfully repaired your installation" & you need to restart to
complete this. But it did not finish rebooting and message read:"need to
close MS Office application" and try again later. I have tried several times
to reboot the PC and I get the same message.
I have avoided rebooting it by pressing and holding the power button to PC,
so far.
Any ideas?
Thank you.
Tom
