corruption in pst files?

I know there was a suggested pst size limit in OL 2000 - not to exceed 2 Gb.
Does anyone know if it can be larger than 2 Gb in the newer versions of
Outlook, such as XP and/or 2003?

PSTs in Outlook 97 through 2002 cannot exceed 1.83 Gb. PSTs in Outlook 2003
can be much larger (20 Tb, in theory).
