Corrupted Recycle bin

I think I have a corrupted recycle bin...I've checked on
line with several sites but all I could find was info on
NT and Windows 98...Nothing for XP. When I put something
in the recycle bin..it doesn't show that it's there...but
when I go to empty it..it says "do you want to delete
these (whatever) files"? How can I fix this?????

Fran.. I can't offer any help, but since misery loves company, my
Recycle Bin does the same thing! I put things in it and they don't
appear, from time to time I get messages saying that its corrupted. I
have just learned to live with it! Maybe someone has an answer for us
:)

Kelly has a fix at line 64, right to replace\repair the recycle bin.
