I had a hard drive intermittantly fail on me, i needed the stuff, so i imaged
the disk to a new one. The result i expected to be kinda corrupt, but it
should've only been temp, to allow the docs to be retreieved. The result was
strange. All programes were there but wouldn't work, reinstalling fixed the
issue so i stayed with the dogey version (lazy i know). With certain
programmes an error would come up "davclnt.dll is not a valid win32 image".
However it wasn't much of a problem as the prog would still work. I installed
another prog which also complained of the .dll and refused to work. So i
replaced it with another .dll found on the net. the messages have disapreared
but most progs now don't work they just error report.
any one got any ideas???? help

Is this the same windows installation as you had before, just running on the
new drive, or has Windows been re installed, or installed elsewhere?

its the same installation on a new drive, but as mentioned before the
corruption may also have been copied.
