Corrupt User Profile?

Windows Xp Pro, IE 6.x, Windows 2000 domain. One user on this PC cannot work online when trying to connect to a web page. All others are OK. Have tried deleting his profile and logging into the domain again, but problem persists. Happened after importing his Favourites from his local user account. Can anyone help me sort this out please

Just a guess.

Go to Users and Password to see if you let this user to access this
computer.
Make sure you have the permission set up for the <Your_Domain> and the
actual wording "Domain Users"

If your domain is "Microsoft", you may need to have an account set up for:

Microsoft/Domain Users

This user was fine until after IE Favourites was imported. His account is OK.

Check his "favor" folder to see if he is the owner... hmm.. I don't know...
try anything...
