Corrupt Security Event Log

Is there anyway to repair a corrupt Security Event Log? I need to see the
events in the log, so simply clearing isn't really an option at this point.
I recieve the message "Log File is Corrupt" when I attempt to open it up in
the Event Viewer.

Thanks for any help
 
I tried running a scan disk on my HD and nothing came back as being fixed. I
attempted to open up the Security Log and it still shows up as being corrupt.

Any other suggestions?
