When I try to boot up computer it says that the following is corrupt or missing Windows\System32\Config\System. I put in the XP Pro disk select r and get to the C:\Windows prompt. Question I have is what to do from there to try and repair the system. Can I copy the System file from another computer and install it on the bad one or is there another way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem, it happened on Dec 29th. I
definatly think what I did was not the right choice. I
reinstalled windows and now I had a windows and windows.0
file, all the data is still around, all the programs are
there too but don't work. I hope someone can help us out.
