Correspondence & Dates

When I bring up previous correspondence I have typed, the date automaticlly
changes to the current date. The autodate is NOT checked. Any ideas on how
or why and how to stop. Thanks.
 
Sorry this is the MS Access (the database program) newsgroup. Try a
newsgroup devoted to the program you are using. You should find people
better able to address your problem there than here.

This sounds like a Word issue. When you insert a data you have a number
of options. On of those options is to update the date every time. You can
change the option. Look for "date field" in the MS Word help file (F1)
