Messing around with my BIOS. I entered display setting and changed setting
from PCI to onboard. Rebooted computer and now there is no display (no
signal). I can't correct BIOS, because there's nothing to see. I've
contacted manufacturer regarding problem, no success. Anyone out there with
ideas on correcting this problem. Computer is an HP Pavillion 771n.

Move the monitor plug from the add-on card to the onboard card.

It's either that or find someone who knows that BIOS well enough to walk you
through it blind to change it back.

Which may destroy other settings as well. This would help only if the
onboard video is the system default setting. It may very well not be.

Got up this morning and read your idea. Brewed a cup of coffee, took a sip
and began to work. In less than a minute, the problem was resolved. How
does the most simple answer elude us. All my appreciation Rick.
