I have Outlook 2000 with Microsoft Exchange Server for all
my in-house emails. However, when I try to set up Internet
email, it will not let me do that and gives me a window
that says..."This action could not be completed." and then
it pops up another window that says..."You need to remove
and reinstall Outlook and then choose Corporate or
Workgroup." I have already reinstalled Outlook but it
never gave me the option to choose Corporate or Workgroup.
After reviewing many KB aritcles, I came across one that
might be the fix. I went to Control Panel and clicked on
Mail. Then I chose Show Profiles, click Add (to create new
profile with MS Exchanger Server and Internet email) and
prceeding the folloing prompts. Once I got to the point of
Setup Internet Email button, it would not do anything at
all. It just would sit there. The only thing I could do is
either hit the Back button or the Cancel button.
If anyone know how to resolve this problem, I would
greatly appreciate it.
