copying

My band made a CD. I copied the CD to my Dell computer
using Windows Media Player 9. But, when I tried to copy
the .wma files back to a blank CD, the transfer was
incomplete. The blank CD played with pops and pauses and
hisses on a regular audio CD player. advice?
