attempting to re-install all of your other applications - but after
that - what you have said is unclear. Help us help you with more

First off - please - don't use all caps in your post.
It can be difficult to read and many people consider it "shouting" in text
format.
Really - you have to give more information.
Think of it this way...
You have basically walked into the doctors office and said, "it hurts, it
really really hurts" <- but won't divulge anything else. Where does it hurt
specifically? When did the pain start? What have you done to try and
remedy the pain? What other symptoms do you have besides the pain?
In your case - you have to tell us more about what is going on. Telling us
you cannot "reinstall all the same cds you had in your computer" not only
doesn't make sense, it gives us little to no information.
We don't even know what operating system you are running, if you have all
the latest drivers and patches for your system, what error you get when you
try to install an application from CD, if you can just not read any of the
CDs and/or see the contents of them, what *you* mean by "cannot reinstall
the same CDs" (you install the applications from the CDs or you play media
from the CDs - you do not actually "install the CDs"..), etc.
Help us help you out. We cannot see your computer or what it is you are
trying to do. We do not know anything about your system yet (hardware
specifications, what went wrong that cause you to have to format and start
fresh, how you even formatted (or if you did a parallel or repair install),
if you had someone else do it and what they say when you ask them what is
going on (why your computer is worse off after you paid them to fix it?) -
and so on.)
