copying photos to cd

hi, i am trying to copy pics to my cdrw through "my pictures"- however there is not an option to do so on the side bar. my home pc has XP and it does have an option"copy pictures to cd" on the side under picture tasks- can someone help me with this
 
Copy paste or drag the pic files to your CDRW drive , right click the drive
and click write these files to cd.

You can get this option back.
Click on Start, click on Run and type the following in the textbox:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
and press Enter.
Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI...

It is also possible that your CD drive is nor enabled.
Right click on your CD drive, Properties, Recording tab, Enable.
