Having copied photos to My Pictures from a digital camera, I want to transfer
them to a CD. My own My Pictures does not have have the "Copy to CD" option
under Picture Tasks. The other two users of this computer do have the option
under their Picture Tasks. I can't understand why this option is not
available to one user, but is available to the two others!! Help please.

Try this, maybe it will restore the option:

go to...Start / Run and type:

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

A dialog box should report the following:

"DllRegisterServer in SHIMGVW.DLL succeeded"

Hi elless i have the same problem as you ! i dont have the copy to cd option
now , did you manage to sort it out ? i can burn cds but cant with my
photos ,

Hi patty

No, haven't been able to sort it out. One of the options John gave me to
look at could fit the problem (the last one) but it's too complicated and I
don't want to mess anything up, so I'll have to burn the photos the long way
round by the looks of it!

Hi again yes i found that to complicated as well.but we are not the only ones
having problems with copying photos to cd ! i have a HP printer scanner and
copier and yesterday noticed i can copy my photos on to a disc from that and
that works ok.
