Copying/pasting emails with attachments in Outlook XP

We are using Outlook XP and Exchange 2000. Recently, the laptops in our
environment pasting the contents of one email message with an attachment
has stopped pasting the attachment part in the new email.

It works on all our workstations in the environment, but not on the
laptops. Laptops are IBM T30, they have Zone Alarm as a firewall, same
security packs and upgrades as the workstations. There are work arounds,
but that isn't the point.

We copy the entire contents including the attachment, paste in new email
and all but the attachment is there. No errors, no security warnings,
nothing.

Any ideas?

Can I ask what exactly you are trying to achieve with this procedure?
