I have several dozen "archived folders" containing hundreds of e-mails that I would like to copy to and save on a CD (much like copying and saving regular data to a CD). Can this be done? I attempted to do this using the "archive data" feature, but it didn't seem to work. I also attempted to just export the data, but that didn't work either. I'm beginning to think it cannot be done. Any sugguestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Don't import or export. Are the "archived folders" you refer to actually
*.pst files? If so, you can just copy those *.pst files onto a CD. If you
ever want to read the messages in them again in Outlook, just copy the *.pst
file(s) back onto the hard drive, remove the read only attribute that
transferring them to CD put on the file(s) and open them in Outlook.
